Chris Rollins is a native of
His earliest musical influence
came from his family. To this day his first acoustic guitar; given to him by
his grandparents hangs on a wall in his house; along with his mother’s first
acoustic and his grandfathers. They remain some of Chris’ most cherished
possessions. Though Chris plays blues, country, and rock; rock music will
ultimately remain his favorite. Chris’ dad was a rock music lover, and
drew heavily on earlier sounds of Kiss, Rolling Stones, Boston, Deep Purple,
Foreigner; Three Dog Night; the list goes on. Chris would grab a record
or 8-track his dad wasn’t listening to and run off to his room, where he’d play
them and pretend he was playing with the band on stage. Funny, but little
did he know that one day that would come true; after his mom finally convincing
him to sing more and along with his dad putting up with long loud practice
sessions at the house. He always had that support and now also has that support
of his wife. Without the support of your family, the gigging and
everything that come along with it is much harder to handle. Chris is
very appreciative of that. Chris started playing in clubs before he was
legally allowed in them, at the age of 19. The very first would’ve been
